One ordinary day, Judi’s life changed forever. She found a lump in her breast — one day it wasn’t there, and the next day it was. Her world turned upside down.

In that moment, one of her first thoughts was “How am I going to tell my children?” Judi’s family has always been incredibly close, and throughout her entire journey, they became her greatest source of strength. Their love and support helped her through even the darkest days.

Since 2016, Judy has endured 13 surgeries — each one a reminder of her courage and resilience. She describes the pain as so intense that some days she couldn’t even stand up. But despite everything, Judi never gave up.

Then, about a year after being diagnosed, Judi discovered Slappa's Thongs — and she says they were the only footwear she could wear during her recovery. Their comfort and support gave her a little piece of relief when she needed it most.

Today, Judi is proud to share her story to help raise breast cancer awareness. She’s deeply grateful to Slappas for supporting women’s health and spreading the message that early detection saves lives. Every time she slips on her Slappas, she’s reminded to remind others — to check their breasts, to take action, and to never ignore the signs.

Now, Judi is overjoyed to say she is cancer-free. 💕
