To ensure you order the correct size measure a pair of your existing thongs, flip flops or sandals from the big toe to the middle of the back of the heel or to where the heel of your foot sits in the thongs – refer to illustration below. Compare your measurement to our Slappa’s Thongs size chart.
Note: Do not measure your foot itself as this will result in incorrect sizing. Slappa’s need to fit firm as they will give a little once moulded to your feet.

Slappa’s Thongs offer two shipping options; Parcel Post – $9.50 and Express Post – $15. All orders are shipped from our fulfilment centre in Adelaide, Parcel Post 4-6 working days, Express Post 1-3 working days anywhere within Australia. We also offer free shipping (to Australian addresses only) for orders over $60. So why not get a pair for the whole family!
International orders are available; shipping can be calculated once you have added your purchase to the cart. Click on ‘calculate shipping’ button and indicate your country, state or postcode.
PLEASE NOTE: We aim to ship orders the same day of ordering or the next working day.
Returns
Policy
Exchange of Slappa’s as a result of ordering the incorrect size is possible (subject to stock availability) providing you make contact within 14 days of purchase and they are in unworn condition.
We are happy to exchange or refund your Slappa’s but the customer is responsible for all associated shipping costs including both return and resend postage.

I’ve had these thongs for awhile now and wanted to wait for a bit before reviewing. I did find them a little too hard at first but with wearing often and also, as suggested, leaving them in the sun for about 15 minutes a day for about a week they are comfy now. I am very happy with them and wear them a lot. I also have tailor bunions and had been looking for something to wear that wouldn’t aggravate them but would also be comfortable while keeping my feet cooler in our hot climate. It took quite some time but I have found these thongs to be the best. Great communication. Quick postage and a $5.00 discount…great combo and a “win win” all around.

I bought my first pair of Slappas as I left Darwin Hospital in late 2017, having had my little toe basically reattached and knowing I’d not be wearing enclosed shoes for a long time. I’m still wearing those blue Slappas though they’re a tad thinner now. Recently I shouted myself two new pairs. I LOVE that they’re so comfy from the moment I put them on: they seem to love my feet. I LOVE that they last so long. I love that Denise was so friendly and helpful when I accidentally ordered brown instead iof black and then contacted her in a panic! My black Slappas and the aqua pair are great! 👍
PS My friend’s cat goes crazy if I leave my Slappas on the floor at their place. She rolls on them, purrs and looks ecstatic! Must mean something. 😆

HI Sue, Thanks for your review. Slappa’s will soften as you wear them more and mould into them. We do make our thongs a little firmer than some other brands so once you mould into them they soften but won’t flatten out. It also makes them last a lot longer and keep their support. With the toe grip it sounds like you make have the wrong size. If you are pushing through your thongs and your toes are over the top and there is a big gap at the back this would mean they are too big. It would be great if you could send us some photos to info@slappasthongs.com.au showing the front the back of the heels and the side profile showing the arch and then I can check for you. Love the new colour and the new sizing, great thongs
Our essentials thong range is slightly softer so you mould into them almost instantly, 2mm longer around the toes and slightly wider allowing us to fit even more people into Slappa’s. We have made sure these adjustments only affect the shape of the thongs, not the size, so you can continue to order the same size as before. Nonetheless, our originals thong range is still available if you prefer this style!
